This Spots & Spikes piece explores the quiet space between sleep and memory - where thoughts loosen their weight and begin to drift upward. A sleeping silhouette becomes the centre of a soft visual field, surrounded by delicate symbols of passing imagination: whales, moons, shells, paper planes, tiny islands, stars, handwritten notes, waveforms, and clouds.
Inspired by Japanese indie fashion graphics and poetic minimalism, the composition uses gentle spacing and clean negative space to create a sense of calm suspension. Monochrome tones with muted accents soften the scene into something warm, intimate, and slow.
A visual lullaby of everything the mind lets go of - just before sleep takes over.
